Pain Management

If you were actually bleeding –

Maybe they could see how bad things really are, but on the surface, you look fine.

So nobody gets it. Nobody else – not even those you care most about – understands how much focus, concentration, and patience it takes for you to do even simple things these days.

They don’t know how to help; they’ve never felt like this. It impacts everything, and words can’t explain.

Your last resort is just to put on a brave face and pretend all is well. You’d never wish this on anyone, and the isolation of suffering alone adds its own kind of pain.

And the doctors are baffled.

Now pain can be tricky because it can come from so many different sources. Whether it’s physical, such as an old injury, damaged tissue that won’t heal properly, or a disease process that needs attention, or an emotional wound your body remembers long after the physical damage has healed, You may struggle to find the cause.

Perhaps you know exactly what happened and when. Perhaps you don’t even remember being injured, and your doctors can’t find any probable cause.

Or maybe your doctor has discovered exactly why it hurts but still has no medical solutions for your pain.

Perhaps it’s totally benign, or maybe it’s life-threatening, and the pain just makes it worse.

But you can be sure of one thing:

What all pains have in common is communication.

Some part of your body or your unconscious self is desperately trying to get through to you – needs your attention. And obviously, it has found a way to get it.

So, you’re communicating – all should be well, right?

There’s a minor subtlety. If we really want to heal the pain, we must make sure the quality of attention is benign. But it’s hard to maintain kind attention for anything – when your pain is screaming at full volume, and your suffering is real.

As Good as it Gets?

You’ve tried everything. And the pain won’t go away, or at least won’t stay away.

You wonder – can you escape? Can you move on? Will you ever feel better, even good? Or is this how things will always be?

It’s easy to succumb to hopelessness – sometimes, it’s just too much to bear.

But I have very good news for you!

Human beings have suffered – and survived – horrendous injuries and misfortunes since the beginning of time.

Wait! And that’s good news!? Yes, because it means that your body has multiple systems to block pain.

You are unique. You have specific pain thresholds. While you’re incredibly tough in one situation, you may be surprisingly timid in another.

But – we can tune your body’s systems to give you the performance you need from them – the systems that handle pain are just a small part of that.

Important: Before we start…

When it comes to pain, I work only after receiving a doctor’s note, and I have a very good reason for that.

Hypnosis can be so effective at blocking or transmuting pain that it can actually mask serious medical issues that should be treated by a medical professional, not a hypnotist.

So, I’m happy to discuss your situation with you on the phone or a discovery call, but I’ll need a doctor’s note on file before I can actually start a session with you.

Getting the Most of Our Work Together

I’ll be with you as long as it takes to get great results. If you’re feeling 100% after a our first session, fantastic! There’s no need for me to take up any more of your precious time.

If it takes a few sessions, that’s also perfectly fine! In fact, I provide necessary additional sessions at no additional charge – because I’m with you every step of the way.

And even if we fully resolve your issue, but you experience the same thing later (provided your doctor certifies it’s still safe), I’m totally happy to see you again to get you back to that place of peace with the sensations in that part of your body.

This works because the unconscious mind controls so many of your subsystems – not only your sensations, feelings, and emotions but also your underlying physical health.

But before you can savor the results, you need to take action.

The world is full of demands for you to do this or do that – right now.

All manner of buzzes, beeps, chirps, rings, alerts, and pleading voices constantly demand your attention, so before life steals your focus and you have to live for months or years in preventable pain, please take action!
